Senior Technical Interior Designer

Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience and will be capable of working in a team or on their own. From an architectural technician background and with an in depth knowledge of interior design construction packages, they will also possess a working knowledge of building construction. They will be proficient in AutoCAD, with Revit an option and have a good knowledge of building regulations, and understand the planning process, the acoustic criteria required for workplace design and have knowledge of performance specifications.

Their career to date will have given them extensive experience in commercial office fit out, and they will be capable of producing detail drawings which will include fixed joinery items and coordinated construction drawings.

Predominantly office based, this person will be required to visit site at times and should have relevant site experience. Their role will require them to support the creative designers with any technical queries, and they will have an understanding of BREEAM and CDM regulations.
