Project Manager/Contract Administrator - Architect - Boutique London Studio

£40,000 to £45,000 DOE

Initial Brief

Sketch is working with a reputed small London based design studio who are looking to alleviate pressure from their Project Architects through the appointment of a process driven and confident Project Manager (Architect). 

Client

Well established in the market, our client is a 20 man studio who have built a business providing full design lifecycle solutions to clients in the Education, Cultural and Residential sectors. 

The role

We are looking for a UK qualified architect who is adept in project management, coordination and administration. 

You will be proficient using MS projects, be skilled at looking at critical pathways of a project and be the key communicator for the project both internally and externally. It will be down to you that the project is run smoothly with continued programme analysis and the ability to push back with the client, advise and coordinate the necessary methods necessary for a positive project outcome for both the studio and client. You will therefore be expected to protect the studio and client.

Experience and understanding of time extension claims with an eye to resolve will be necessary.

It might be the case that you are an architect who has been undertaking a project management role for a few years now, or, you may have recently had to deal with a particular tricky and complex contract and thrived on managing the process to a positive outcome.
