Our Client are based on the South Coast and specialise in designing and building quality new build housing projects.


Your new role

They are currently looking for a Planner to provide key support to the planning team by appraising sites, responding to policy, making planning applications and assisting with planning process management as well as compliance within the organisation. The role will involve:

Managing the submission of planning applications to Local Planning Authorities
Compiling Planning application, conditions and appeal documentation for submission to Local Planning Authorities including research on prior planning history of sites
Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external customers and external suppliers
Attending Planning Committee Meetings and Public Consultation Meetings



What you'll need to succeed

Ideally with a degree in Town Planning and working towards RTPI status or recently qualified, you should have recent experience process planning applications in either a public or private sector environment.
