BIM Coordinator

Stride are presently recruiting for a multi-award winning Executive Architect who are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their growing office in Shoreditch.

As a BIM coordinator, you will be working closely with the Directors, Project Leaders and Head of BIM to support and drive the use of BIM on a number of exciting projects. Examples of your day to day duties will include:

• Model setup and Model maintenance
• clash detection
• BIM content creation
• Helping to resolve BIM design issues
• Liaising with the wider design team on BIM related topics
• Monitoring internal BIM standards compliance across BIM projects
• Drafting BIM Execution Plans
• Performing regular Model audits to check standards and protocols compliance
• Mentoring and supporting project teams on BIM/Revit Best Practice
• Assisting in-house Revit training
• Identifying BIM/Revit training needs
• Undertake Revit testing

The right candidate must have the equivalent of 5 years’ experience using Revit on live projects through all stages, with a particular focus and bias on project delivery. You must be able to demonstrate experience in modelling Revit families and experience with Navisworks and clash detection workflows. You should have a working knowledge of Dynamo Visual Programming and a sound knowledge of UK BIM Standards.
