Job Details

Enthusiastic and industry-savvy social media enthusiast required for a friendly London-based design practice.

The main purpose of this role is to increase and drive their online presence with vibrant, thought-provoking content. This is a part-time position for 3 days a week primarily at the heart of the studio, but with the option of some remote working.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Maintaining the CMS element of current website
  • Reviewing and drafting text in conjunction with Directors/Associates
  • Managing and maintaining visual quality of the website
  • Developing ideas to communicate the character of the practice
  • Coordinate and organise image and text library
  • Develop and implement social media strategy
  • Ensuring consistency across all social media channels
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the practice, tone of voice and practice philosophy
  • Imaginative content creation
  • Increase traffic flow to website
  • Ad-hoc graphic design output
  • Assistant with production of bids and other visual documents
  • A strong knowledge of current affairs and industry trends
  • Experience of SEO and building audience reach is highly desirable

Strong communication and team working skills are vital as you’ll be working closely with the Directors and project teams to strategise, develop, and implement bold and engaging creative content. Ideally, the successful candidate will utilise their contacts and network to build the practice’s profile across online media.

The successful candidate will possess superb copywriting skills and an eye for layout and graphics. A background in Architecture would be beneficial as you will need both an understanding and appreciation of all aspects of design and you be able to communicate this effectively to a wide audience. The ethos, philosophy and profile of the practice must also be communicated effectively and succinctly.
