Your new company
An Architecture and Interior Design practice who have offices both in the UK and abroad are looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to add to their Nottinghamshire based team. This company specialise in a variety of sectors including commercial, residential and healthcare, with their core business lying within education projects. This is a Revit forward company and carry out the majority of their projects within this software.
Your new role
You will be working in a fluid team under a tier of Associates on projects mainly within the education sector, projects comprising of; schools, colleges and 6th forms. You will also be required to work on projects within the residential, commercial and healthcare sectors from time to time.
You will be heavily involved with projects at stages 4 and 5. You will pick some projects up from post planning stages, creating the working drawing packages for tender, and you will pick others up once on site, where you will be required to complete contractors working drawing information.
You will mostly be office based and will be working using Revit but you will be required on site from time to time for Design Team progress meetings. You will also be expected to liaise with contractors on a regular basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have 3-5 years experience within the industry with a Revit proficiency being desirable. You must have a strong technical skill set which can be demonstrated through a portfolio, and you must be able to work as both part of a team or as an individual with minimal guidance.
Candidate with education sector experience will prioritised but candidates with substantial experience within other sectors will also be considered.
