Are you a Studio Coordinator or Manager seeking a challenging opportunity to shape the office culture of an emerging studio? This practice is a rising star in the Architecture world, receiving notable press traction across industry publications and developing thought-provoking projects. They are seeking a Studio Manager to construct and improve office procedures and oversee a comprehensive roster of tasks.

To be considered, you must possess a proven level of IT competency with excellent skills in MS Office, Outlook, Safari and Dropbox and be confident working in a Mac-based environment. A solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is highly advantageous.

Encompassing studio management, acting as PA to two busy Directors, financial administration, HR, PR, Marketing and New Business, the remit will be familiar to Studio Coordinators or Managers with knowledge of being sole support staff to a small practice. The successful candidate will ideally have a keen interest in social media management, CRM systems and online marketing strategies and be ready to drive the company’s online presence. As a blossoming company, you will be relied upon to proactively and intuitively search new business opportunities and present those of interest to senior management. With minimal supervision, the Studio Manager will possess the self-motivation and initiative to research any areas of interest and be quick to act efficiently. The ability to adapt to in-house processes and pick up new systems will be critical.

With a heavy emphasis on staff welfare and office culture, this collective requires a thoughtful and team-driven individual to continually ensure the team is happy and comfortable. Organising team drinks, coordinating weekly studio meetings and booking events outings, will form an integral part of the Studio Manager’s role. Friendly, social and approachable, you will hone the company’s welfare activities to foster an inclusive and healthy environment.

A strong sense of financial literacy and former experience overseeing generalist HR duties, will be essential.
