Architect - culture and community projects
A medium sized studio of around 30, based in Clerkenwell, are seeking an Architect to join their team. They have an eclectic portfolio of projects, buildings ranging from community, cultural, educational and bespoke retail. Collaboration and listening is at the centre of what they do, resulting in beautifully created memorable spaces, and an onus on user-experience.
Their most current pressing projects include a number of libraries, London based, and at various stages. They are interesting schemes requiring design flair and close client management. They are projects that would highly appeal to an architect who is keen to give a long-lasting design contribution to its users and the wider community.
You will be qualified to part iii level, with rounded experience across all stages. The role would suit someone who is seeking the next step in their career, an opportunity to work on larger projects with greater autonomy. You will have at least one year post part iii experience. The practice uses Vectorworks, and although those with some past exposure will be regarded highly, support can be given for individuals needing it.
The studio has a friendly and relaxed culture, with staff supported at all levels. They are very respectful of work-life balance and a genuine culture of finishing their day in good time. Salary and benefits will be competitive for level.
