Working in a small Architecture practice will allow for excellent exposure to a range of tasks and responsibility, and you will benefit from experienced Architects and Technicians being able to provide training and support.
Your new role
Within this role you will be involved in all stages, and likely involved in surveys, planning and building warrant drawings, and full construction packages. Although this role is mainly a technical post, if you are skilled in using Sketchup and other 3d software, then you will also get involved in presentation drawings. Key clients and sectors include Conservation, Commercial and Residential.
What you'll need to succeed
To be selected for interview, it is essential that you are an Architectural Technician, and have demonstrable experience already working in this role. AutoCAD proficiency is essential, and other software skills are desirable although not essential. It is essential that you have a driving licence and a vehicle for this role, as you are required to travel to site regularly.
