A job opening is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Architectural Technician to join an emerging architectural design start up in West Sussex. This architectural design practice would like to welcome an Architectural Technician to join them in a permanent position as their business expands within the local housing sector. With a series of projects due to go live this spring, including an £800k new build home, high-end domestic conversion and a 30-unit residential development, all hands-on deck are required.
Your new role
This role requires a versatile and passionate individual who can apply themselves to all aspects of the design and construction process. You'll provide essential support to the existing team, producing technical drawings using AutoCAD for building regulations and construction. You'll travel to each of your local sites and provide hand on assistance with surveying existing plots and troubleshooting any issues throughout the construction process.
What you'll need to succeed
A thorough understand of UK Building regulations and the construction process is essential for this role as well as AutoCAD proficiency. Enthusiasm, dedication and a desire to achieve the optimum results for your clients.
