Interior Technician - Hospitality

A global reach, forward thinking design studio based next to Borough Market are looking for an interior technician with experience in hospitality design to join their highly creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a part of a key role in the studio.
• Contribute to a mix of design lead boutique commercial designers and national roll-outs.
• Produce spatial plans and elevations for commercial refurbishments.
• Ability to set-up drawings and recommend better ways of working for drawing standards.
• Understand and draw bespoke furniture and joinery details.
• Produce tender and construction documentation.
• Communicate with other members of staff to ensure successful outcomes.
• Attend technical meetings with wider project design teams.
• Work efficiently to project timescales.
• Methodical and organised in your daily output.
• Offer technical design solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working on F&B and hospitality projects.
• Practical knowledge of joinery methodology and building practices.
• Experience in putting together drawing packages.
• Meticulous when it comes to detailed design.  
• Confidently work independently and as part of a design team.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and deliver to time constraints.  
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Must hold a degree or certificate in a related design field.
