Architectural Assistant

A cutting-edge and market-leading studio in north London is on the lookout for an ambitious and switched-on architectural assistant to join their on-site project for a seven month contract basis. On offer is the chance to work on a critically acclaimed and recently televised private residential project now on site. This role is especially suitable for any Part II assistant who is keen to gain on site and co-ordination experience towards their Part III.

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage design information on site.
• Track and report progress.
• Assess subcontractors’ scope of works, report on omissions.
• Manage and report on deliveries.
• Organise materials/parts on site for later use.

Skills and Experience

• Part II-qualified or equivalent.
• Strong organisation and co-ordination skills are essential.
• Must have worked within UK projects previously and have an aptitude for hard work with a high-end design ethos.
• Interest in digital design and fabrication is desirable.
• Ideally able to drive, with own vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
