Bid Manager Extraordinaire for Prominent Architecture Practice

A highly prestigious Architecture studio with award-winning Residential and Cultural projects is seeking a dedicated Bid Manager to lead new business activities and submissions. We are searching for a confident and well-rounded Bid Manager with extensive experience of compiling Practice Profiles, SQs, ITTs, PQQs, bid submissions, competition entries and tenders within the Built Environment. Similar former roles in large Architecture Practices are advantageous. Above all, the successful candidate will have a fantastic set of requisite skills – time management, able to prioritise, great team coordination, be an effective communicator able to understand and assimilate key project information and be graphics-savvy producing high-quality output.

As well as a keen sense for eye-catching layouts, you will draft informative and eloquent copy integrating the studio’s tone of voice and proof-read all text. With an equal aptitude for administrative duties, this role involves managing a database of submissions, archiving any new documents and evaluating the practice’s success in bids to develop improved working strategies for future success.

Leading the research in to new business opportunities, the successful candidate will be monitoring tender portals, competitions and OJEU, carefully selecting schemes that align with the firm’s ethos, design philosophy and values. A lynchpin within the talented Marketing & Communications team, this is an intrinsically collaborative role that will involve liaison with multiple staff members. Must be a team player!

To be considered, you must have at least 3 years’ experience within the Architecture/Property industries.
