Senior Project Architect - Vectorworks

An outgoing architectural studio set on the London/Surrey border close to Twickenham are achieving Architectural excellence in bespoke residential Architecture and Interiors. A great opening has become available for a Project Architect versed in Vectorworks.

The aim of the designers are to make environments that will add value to users in the long term. Their work is becoming more recognised and have started to be shortlisted for some of the UK's most sought after small project awards. The one unifying theme is creating Architectural projects that are succinctly eloquent both in terms of design, structure and interiors.

Off the back of several successful projects, the practice is growing and seeking a Senior Project Architect versed in Commercial, Residential and Interiors. This individual will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the setup of construction drawings packages
• Preparing technical drawings and presentation of drawing packages for submission to clients
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and incorporating their technical drawings into the construction package
• Follow building codes and regulations (therefore it is essential that you have a strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations)
• Specifying the nature and quality of materials required. A strong eye for design and presentation is important, and liaising with the Interior Designer about fixtures and finishes if applicable
• Advising clients on their projects
• Overseeing the tender process
• Representing the company at regular site meetings
• Expected to resolve problems and issues that arise during construction, issuing instructions and amended drawings as necessary.
