Progressive Engineering Practice with Superb Industry Standing seeks Strategic Senior Bid Manager

A leading Engineering Consultancy collaborating with high-profile Architects on spectacular schemes is searching for a Superb Senior Bid Manager to drive winning submissions. Playing a critical role in the company’s ongoing development, the successful candidate must have proven experience within a similar role for 5+ years in the Built Environment.

The Senior Bid Manager will deliver multiple bid and tender submission across multiple sectors and disciplined, working simultaneously across ranging workflows and within compressed timeframes. With your immaculate time management skills, you will continuously develop bid content and style to ensure the company remains a market leader. Developing a proposal structure, setting timescales for tender responses and consistently meeting internal deadlines is critical, alongside setting a clear path for the bid team to deliver winning submission in-line with the Senior Bid Manager’s strategy (including checking they understand the question or scoring mechanisms and collaborating on storyboards). As a central conduit in the collation of project information with technical staff, you will coordinate its input in to bid responses and liaise with all departments in the completion of PQQs, ITTs and business proposals.

In addition to strategically leading the bid team, the successful candidate will inspire them with their outstanding implementation skills overseeing the maintenance of a bid library, creating bid trackers and managing multiple tender portals. In all areas of selection, development and execution of bid strategy, you will be the figurehead of bid campaign management, confident in strategic-thinking, stakeholder management, writing, InDesign layouts, punctual submissions and post-tender submissions. This role requires a committed, results-driven and hard-working individual with natural leadership skills.

The Senior Bid Manager will liaise extensively with the wider Marketing team confirming New Business activities meet key business objectives.
