We are urgently seeking an IT-savvy Interim Studio Manager able to pick up in-house processes quickly. This role has an immediate start date and is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a longer-term position thereafter for the right candidate that successfully delivers all required tasks.

Based in the stunning HQ of a revolutionary design studio, the Studio Manager will operate within a well-structured support team alongside a Studio Coordinator and Administrator. Distinguished for producing arresting multi-disciplinary projects across Architecture, Interiors, Product and Industrial design, the successful candidate will ensure all electronic systems work seamlessly ensuring an uninterrupted flow in the Designers workflow. Technical knowledge of AV, internet-based phone systems, business management software, FTP sites and video conferencing is highly beneficial. The Studio Manager will be liaising regularly with the in-house IT team to set up, improve and troubleshoot hardware and software tasks. Previous experience of updating outdated hardware, planning the adoption of new software and implementing the rollout of upgrades within a Studio Manager or Office Manager capacity is a distinct advantage.

Alongside IT activities, the Studio Manager will be responsible for all office administration related to supporting a 50-strong team, including overseeing FOH functions (arranging couriers, sorting post and booking meeting rooms), booking travel plans for Designers and working closely with the HR team to carry out onboarding/offboarding processes.

With strong communication skills able to motivate staff members and foster a supported working culture as well as diplomacy acumen, the Interim Studio Manager will need to carve a reliable reputation swiftly within the team and be able to think managerially to improve systems and processes.
