Conrad Consulting are currently presenting the unique opportunity for an established and experienced Associate/Associate Director-Level Architect to join a thriving, AJ100 studio in their modern, central Manchester studio.

This reputable firm of Architects have offices located strategically across the country to accommodate an expansive and diverse range of clients throughout the UK. Traditionally their portfolio encompasses projects within the Commercial, Office, Industrial and Residential sectors. The studio is aiming to grow their presence in these sectors and in other sectors such as Higher Education and the Retail & Leisure amongst others.

Their future plans for the Manchester office are substantial. To this end, they are looking for an experienced individual to join the practice at a Senior level and assist with the development and further diversification of their client base across the North-West. The office is currently home to 10 Architectural professionals; they are looking to double this figure in the next few years.

The ideal candidate will be working at either Associate or Associate Director level within an established North-West studio and have significant ambition for further career development. This role will include working closely with fellow Senior staff in Manchester and Directors across the regional offices, therefore interpersonal skills are very important. It is also important for candidates to have an existing network of contacts throughout the Manchester/North-West region and be comfortable in a business development role as required.

Ideally, applicants will meet the following criteria:

·ARB/RIBA Qualification. Minimum 10-15 Years post qualification experience.
·Extensive Client and Project experience in Manchester and across the North West.
·An existing portfolio comprising Residential, Student Accommodation, Office, Hotel, Education or Industrial projects.
·Experience managing a team of Architectural professionals.
·Able to work collaboratively and to delegate responsibilities accordingly.
·Excellent communication skills.
·Proficient using AutoCAD (REVIT Training can be offered).

Roles/Responsibilities will include:

·Assisting in the day-to-day management of the Manchester office.
·Managing an existing client base and developing new clients across the North-West region.
·Designing high quality architecture.
·Mentoring colleagues and assisting in their development.
·Working collaboratively with other regional offices, attending meetings, etc.
·Exercising financial control.

A competitive salary is on offer between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependent on experience level).
