Architectural Technician

Conrad Consulting are currently working closely with a small practice based in North Worcestershire, seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to their growing team.

The practice are small in terms of numbers, but offer their clients a full range of architectural and multi disciplinary service, taking projects from concept through to completion. Projects are predominantly in the Residential/Housing sector, and can vary from one off luxury housing, through to large scale 400 unit masterplans.

The team are now looking to add an Architectural Technician with at least 2 years of industry experience to further strengthen their technical offering. The ideal Architectural Technician for this role will be local to Worcester, hold demonstrable experience working on residential projects, and will be keen to join a small but ambitious team of Architects and Assistants. You will be provided with continual support and guidance which will aid you in your development as an Architectural Technician.

Some of the tasks you will be faced with in this role include the following:

·Site appraisals (sketches, planning assessments etc)
·Masterplan drawings
·Planning application works (plans, elevations, sections and site layouts) to a high standard
·Detailed construction packages alongside design teams (specifications, construction detailing, building regulation submissions)
·Design flair who can work alone and as part of a small team
·Can work to tight deadlines and over a variety of projects

Applicants must have a car and full UK driving license as work spreads from Cornwall to Birmingham and across Herefordshire to Oxford, as well as in Worcestershire itself.

Immediate starts are available to suitable candidates, with salary likely to be in the region of £22,000-£28,000 per annum.
