Attractive job opportunity for an architectural technician to join an original and vibrant RIBA Architectural practice located in leafy mid Sussex, a short walk from Haywards Heath train station. This friendly team of 6 are looking to welcome a competent and motivated architectural technologist to their design collective. Their versatile portfolio is evidence of their holistic approach to each individual client and project, incorporating both traditional and contemporary design. Varying schemes to date include residential extensions, schools, conservation, new builds and equestrian stables.

Your new role

You'll quickly become a central part of this cohesive team of professionals, with your primary responsibility being the production of full drawing packages at each stage of the project lifecycle, from inception to completion. As you settle in, you'll have the chance to meet and build relationships with wide ranging clients and play an integral role in visiting and monitoring projects on site as they progress.

What you'll need to succeed

The role is best suited to an existing architectural technician who has a good understanding of current building regulations, ideally with experience covering different project sectors. You'll be a confident AutoCAD user with fluency or some knowledge of Revit beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must and ideally, you'll have your own means of transport for site visits.

What you'll get in return

Working hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. Benefits include pension, 28 days annual leave, mileage and biannual team outings.
