Your new role
Will be carrying out a range of drawings including planning applications and building warrants for mainly domestic projects. As part of this role, you will be speaking to private clients on a daily basis, and communicating with both in house and external construction departments. Your role will also involve communication with local authorities and contractors on a daily basis. As well as working closely with the in house Architects in helping them bring their design ideas to life.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have a relevant Architectural qualification such as HNC / HND or degree in Architectural Technology. Demonstrable experience within a drawing office or practice is also essential, with about 4 years experience in practice being ideal for this level of role. You will need to have live project experience in dealing with planning applications and building warrants.
You will be required to speak to customers on the phone and face to face so good communication skills and a confident approach is an essential part of this role. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this position.
