A new, exciting Technical Manager job in Hampshire working on a large mixed-use development paying up to £65k


Hays Construction and Property are seeking a Technical Manager to join a dynamic Public Sector organisation to help deliver a large mixed-use development in Hampshire

The organisation are looking to set the standard for community led development and are now embarking on an exciting and ambitious landmark development programme. After recently acquiring a large development site, the organisation now have plans to roll out the multi-phase scheme consisting of over 1000+ homes, schools and community facilities.

Your new role
As the Technical Manager, you will oversee the design and pre-construction process ensuring the project fully meets all legislative, regulatory and health and safety guidelines. You will provide expert technical input into feasibility studies, value management, planning, surveys, construction and sustainability issues and oversee subcontractors to deliver the design information effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have an excellent technical and construction knowledge including design standards, building regulations and planning guidance alongside a track record of delivering large scale housing builds. Equally you will have a natural ability to coordinate and focus multi-disciplinary teams to get the desired outcomes, have strong negotiating and business acumen combined with drive and determination.
