Senior Architectural Technologist

Superb opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join one of the UK's leading Architectural practices, to be based in their Birmingham office.

The practice feature prominently in the list of AJ100 practices, and have multiple offices throughout the UK and internationally. The Birmingham office is now seeking to recruit an additional Architectural Technologist as a result of ongoing growth and success.

A Senior Architectural Technologist with a proven background in the Residential, Student Accommodation & Commercial sectors would be looked upon favourably for this role, alongside full proficiency in the use of Revit. The practice work in multiple sectors other than the aforementioned, so the opportunity for variety is very much available. Other areas worked within include; Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Workplace and Industrial schemes.

The Senior Architectural Technologist for this role will ideally hold at least 5 years of post degree experience. You will be provided with ongoing support and development to enable you to progress through to more senior levels within the office.

Other requirements of the Senior Architectural Technologist as follows:

·Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings to current Building Regulations standard.
·Produce detailed works instructions, specifications and schedules of work.
·Understand technical, contractual and professional aspects of work and continually maintain technical knowledge.
·Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, Clients and Design teams - previous job running experience.
·Lead a small team of Architectural Technicians & Assistants, providing mentoship and guidance throughout most RIBA stages
·Demonstrate good time management and self-organisation.
·The ability to work with minimal supervision on construction drawings and Tender. Packages.
·Demonstrate a strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations & Cross sector standards.

In return, you will receive a salary in the region of £38,000-£45,000 per annum dependant on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package.
