Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a small Planning Consultancy in Sheffield that are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Town Planner to join their tight-knit team.
Specialising in Planning, Design and Development, the successful Town Planner will provide essential support to their hands-on Director. This is a small yet thriving business with a fantastic working environment, therefore it is an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner looking to join a passionate and enterprising team.
As a Town Planner your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; preparing and submitting planning applications and researching & analysing planning policies & data to guide and inform development.
With a strong growth in the Property Planning sector, projects are predominantly Residential, therefore Residential experience is desirable. Other Requirements of the Town Planner include:
Qualified Town Planner with eligibility for membership with the RTPI
A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
Experience in Private or Public-Sector projects
Experience in engaging with clients, consultants and other stakeholders
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - you may be required to negotiate with developers & other planning professionals
Fantastic presentation skills
Organised and Adaptable individual
Full UK Driving Licence required
