CAD Technician (Ceilings & Partitions Savy)

Our client is a Drylining Sub-Contractor, who specialise in the design and installation of ceilings and partitions, across several sectors, inc. Commercial / High-end Residential / Commercial / Aviation.

They enjoyed a whopping turnover of £55m in the last financial year and aim to smash this record to £60m in this financial year.

Due to an increasing workload, our client is now on the lookout for a CAD Technician.

The successful candidate will report into a Design Manger, whilst being responsible for providing support in drawing, logging and general administration of all design activities.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Producing technical construction drawings in AutoCAD
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and consultants
• Preparing design documentation for presentation to the client
• Making sure the data on file is up to date
• Site visits could be called upon from time to time

Conrad Consulting is looking to speak with experienced CAD Technicians who have previous experience in:

• Working for a construction company / relevant manufacturer
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proven track record working in ceilings and partitions projects

Our client is also looking for someone on a contract basis too, this is for a minimum of 3 months - They would be looking to pay a day rate up to £130.
