Celebrated Engineering Consultancy Firm seeks an Experienced Technical Copywriter

An exciting and reputable Engineering Consultancy Firm seeks a talented Copywriter to join their team. An exciting opportunity for an individual, with excellent copywriting experience, to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team, to evolve their career within a successful, supportive and internationally-known company.

As Copywriter you will be joining a successful and pro-active bids team and working closely with Strategic Marketing Director. You will be responsible for ensuring high written standards in engaging copy for bid submissions. A team-spirited attitude is a must as the Technical Copywriter will play a key role in achieving the company’s growth objectives. Duties will include:

• Liaising with the bid team to deliver required technical copy
• Deliver elements of both technical writing and copywriting
• Ensure all bid submissions are in line with company tone of voice
• Editing technical information written by subject matter experts
• Repurpose and edit existing copy
• Take a proactive role in the writing of standard content, CVs and practice profiles
• Taking the lead in writing compelling executive summaries

Ideally candidates will have at least 3 years’ technical copy writing experience and proven experience working within the built environment industry. Strong written communication skills are a must, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in design, civil, and structural engineering. The successful candidate will have suitable experience of transforming technical information into engaging copy, knowledge of the bid process, and confident in their ability to interview subject matter experts, extracting important information and creating high-quality copy.
