Design Directer - Architecture

A world-class design studio is looking to appoint a design director. They multiple offices covering varied sectors globally and a legacy of pioneering and award-winning design.

This is one of their newer offices based in Bangalore which requires new talent to drive the design working with an internationally-trained team of architects. Although in their infancy they have quadrupled in size of the past five years and have over 100 architects in the office. The pipeline is booming and would suit an architect who wants to be involved with a growing economy.

They are looking to bolster their team with a design director who has a track record of designing award-winning, prestigious schemes internationally. Architects who have worked in the Middle East and APAC regions will be best suited. Your portfolio could include tall towers, retail, hospitality or commercial workplace.

Design is essential to the role in a studio promoting collaborative working with a flat hierarchy. Communication is key, being able to tell a story and narrative to inspire clients and colleagues. You will be client-facing taking schemes through to tender, and oversee the construction and local architects.
