Town Planner

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a progressive Planning Consultancy in Sheffield that are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

Specialising in Planning, Design and Development, the successful Town Planner will provide essential support to their hands-on Director. This is a thriving business with a fantastic working environment; therefore, it is an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner looking to join a passionate and enterprising team.

As a Town Planner your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; preparing and submitting planning applications, preparing appeals and researching & analysing planning policies & data to guide and inform development, attending public meetings, undertaking public consultation.

Working alongside award winning architects both locally and nationally on major urban regeneration initiatives, this company is seeking someone who is creative and capable of applying both knowledge and initiative. Other Requirements of the Town Planner include:

· Qualified Town Planner with eligibility for membership with the RTPI
· A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
· Experience in Private and / or Public-Sector projects
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - you may be required to negotiate with developers & other planning professionals
· Fantastic presentation skills
· Organised and Adaptable individual
· Full UK Driving Licence required

Salary offered is between £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
