Design Director

This widely recognised architectural studio is a world leader in collaborative design. They require design directors in China and Hong Kong who have a strength in commercial workplace - with an increased workload they require further design talent to strengthen the existing team.

The role will be client facing and would suit design architects who enjoy storytelling and developing the narrative with the client and team. They currently have a portfolio of tier one clients in the finance, tech and professional services. Ideal applicants should have strong commercial workplace focused portfolios and a track record of designing and delivering projects in this sector.

Communication is key, and Mandarin not essential for the role where you will be briefing teams and taking on a project lead role, influencing the clients with pioneering design. Architects with a strong understanding of future trends in a changing commercial workplace market will be able to drive groundbreaking projects.
