Senior Architectural Technician

Experienced Architect or Senior Architectural Technician needed for Zone 1 architecture studio - up to £29 p/h

Your new company
You'll be joining a multi-award winning Clerkenwell based design studio, made up of Architects and Interior Designers. This company works on an exciting variety of projects, including retail, public sector, residential and mixed use buildings.

Your new role
Initially you will be working on an historic mixed use building, which is on site and deep in to the construction phases. A major part of this role will be managing the contractors a & client expectations. The projects are deliverd in Vectorworks, so the ability to use this software would be beneficially but not essential. You will be joining for a 6 month contract, with the option to go permanent after.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Architectural Technician or a qualified Architect with an eye for technical detail, who is familiar with the challenges that arise during the construction phase of a major and complex building; being able to interpret information; and as one of the leading architectural technicians involved, finding solutions to communicate with the project leader, wider design team and various contractors.

What you'll get in return
The project you will be working on has at least 9 months left until completion - so the contract will be at least this long. The client has also been very clear that for the right candidate they'd be happy to offer a permanent contract moving forward.
