Are you an experienced Copywriter seeking a new, exciting opportunity? A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Copywriter to join an illustrious Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy Firm, to deliver articulate and attention-grabbing copy for interdisciplinary bid submissions.

The Technical Writer will demonstrate existing accomplishment in the areas of converting technical information to easily understandable, non-technical writing, as well as expertise in persuasive language. Working closely with the in-house bid team, you will adopt the practice’s tone of voice and continually craft this to create compelling copy. You will be a champion of high-quality writing, motivating and inspiring other team members, as well as liaising with Engineers to ensure technical information is communicated clearly. Predominantly focused on bid submissions and competition entries, the successful candidate will also produce original content including, standard text, CVs, case studies, executive summaries, project profiles and other ad-hoc business documentation.

To be considered, candidates will be able to demonstrate clear, concise and engaging writing examples and a genuine interest and appreciation for Architecture, Engineering and Construction. You must evidence at least 3 years’ experience within a Technical Copywriting role and ideally hold a degree in a writing-related subject. Superb proof-reading skills, an immaculate eye for detail and the ability to deliver successful copy under time-pressured conditions will be essential.

Knowledge of InDesign is advantageous.
