Exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a Bristol based Local Authority using Revit

Your new company
Working with a forward thinking local authority with a new Head office in Bristol. The organisation is redeveloping the way their property team is run to be able to support the authority in making best use or their land and property portfolio. Your new role
You will be providing full architectural services from feasibility through to planning and working drawings coming to full project management and completion. You will be required to provide full working drawings and specifications, to liaise with planning and building control within the authority to be able to gain consent for projects. You will be a contract administrator for projects up to £2.5million, and be a project lead across multi disciplines. You will supervise the work of other more junior team members and oversee and instruct Clerk of Works colleagues. On larger projects you will also act as internal team leader directing and monitoring other professionals assigned to the project.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a technically strong Architectural professional, with a vast amount of project experience in completing feasibility of projects through to technical drawing packages and supporting with project management. You will have worked on different types of projects including education and public buildings as well as exposure to residential projects. You will be degree level qualified as a minimum and have a full understanding of regulations for the successful completion of construction projects in the UK environment. You will also be competent with NBS Specification Manager, AutoCAD and especially confident in the use of Revit software.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be rewarded with a salary of between £35000 and £39000 per annum, Up to 34 days leave per year, flexible working patterns with work from home available. Flexi time benefit of up to 2 days per month. As well as a great pension of around 20% employer contribution.
