Are you a proficient Architectural Technologist looking to work in a successful and creative Architectural practice based in Colchester?

Conrad Consulting are thrilled to be working alongside a small design practice that are looking for someone just like you!

This highly reputable studio have been practicing for over 100 years and are one of the longest established practices in the region. They work across all sectors of the built environment, on numerous projects from small domestic extensions, to large commercial and housing schemes. Current clients include schools, housing associates and developers.

The successful Architectural Technologist will become part of a warm and friendly team, with each and every staff member valued by the practice. Duties will include drafting planning applications, construction packages, technical detailing as well as dealing directly with clients and external consultants.

If you are an Architectural Technologist and want to be a part of this supportive & collaborative environment then you must have the following requirements:

• Architectural Technology Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience - ideally within the Residential & Heritage sectors
• Capable of working without close supervision, including confidently producing planning applications and Building Regulation applications
• Ability to measure and draw up building surveys
• Excellent sketching and design skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD

The salary on offer to the successful Architectural Technologist is likely to between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
