A global architectural practice requires a Senior HR Administrator to coordinate the smooth administrative running of the HR team based in central London. You will be responsible for providing an efficient and high-quality HR service to the London office and other locations as required. Acting as first point of contact for London staff, you will answer queries in relation to HR policies in an approachable, accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records by preparing, processing, scanning and filing documentation relating to employee changes/issues in a timely manner.
  • Draw up letters to confirm contract changes, tailored to individual requirements in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Track and regularly report on the visa status of employees, and undertake research into visa requirements as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for reference, mortgage/letting queries or employee detail changes.
  • Provide ad hoc reports as requested by the HR team.
  • Undertake process improvement projects.
  • Be proactive in researching HR topics and engaging in discussion and development of the HR support function.
  • Assist with any tasks relating to the HR Administrator duties i.e. resources and project tasks.
  • To ensure that all work undertaken complies with the requirements laid down in the company manual, including quality assurance, environmental management and health & safety.
  • Coordination with other departments to ensure seamless new starter procedure and on-boarding.
  • Resourcing and recruitment, payroll, inductions, performance management/ training & development, absence, leavers’ procedure and work experience.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in an HR assistant/administrator or coordinator capacity.
  • Experience of working with HR information systems.
  • Articulate and confident communicator.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator.
  • Customer focused, with the ability to build relationships and gain trust quickly.
  • Aware of when to ask for help, demonstrating consistently sound judgement.
  • Able to demonstrate a sensitive approach to confidential matters.
  • Resourceful and able to solve problems using your own initiative.

The ideal candidate will have strong admin skills, an interest in developing a career within HR, and be a team player.
