Senior Bid and Project Manager for Multidisciplinary Design Co

An international multidisciplinary design practice is looking for a Senior Project and Bids Manager to join their London office. The role is perfect for someone with a commercial bids understanding and project budgeting experience to be a key member within their practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating commercial proposal documents such as fees, forecasts, resources, costing, baselines, etc. for new and existing projects
• Working closely and reporting updates of projects to directors
• Preparing business performance data, analysing against targets for projects and bidding
• Liaising with management on project risk registers
• Preparing costing and proposals for project changes
• Producing fee drawing arrangements and calculate amounts due for invoicing
• Driving delivery of projects with team leaders from inception to completion
• Creating programmes, scopes of work and deliverable schedules via liaising with directors and teams
• Manage a time record and cost information for performance monitoring and billing purposes
• Driving tasks within the NEC3 PSC (New Engineering Contract) environment
• Assisting on other projects as needed

Key Skills:

• Previous bid management experience as well as managing and creating budgets/fees/etc for projects
• Previous experience within the design industry
• Extreme attention to detail with the ability to work tight deadlines
• Proficient in MS Excel, project management software, and a working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
• Ability to foster a highly creative design team environment whilst successfully maintaining and delivering projects
• Confident working with people at all levels/disciplines
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of appointment documents/building contracts is desirable
