Are you a locally well connected Senior level Architect looking for future advancement to Director Level?

We have a requirement for dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Architect to strengthen the Leeds office of our well established and highly reputable Multi-disciplinary Architectural Practice,

Required is someone familiar with the local construction business community, ideally well connected and eager to take a leading role in the development of their established Leeds studio, this position has the potential for advancement to a senior level in the business with a clear route through to Director level.

Our client is a long established multi-disciplinary practice of architects and consulting engineers in the Yorkshire and East Midlands regions with a strong emphasis on meeting clients' aspirations through a process of dialogue, thoughtful problem solving and delivering high quality design solutions. They have garnered an enviable reputation for delivering a plethora or projects most notably within the Leisure, Education, Commercial, Retail and Residential Sectors.

What you will be doing:
· You will be working as an integral part of a busy team delivering new build and refurbishment projects mainly in the Yorkshire area.
· Working alongside the managing partner you will be taking responsibility for leading project teams through all stages of a project from inception to completion including all aspects of client engagement.
· Providing management input into the varied aspects of the office's day to day activities.
· From an early stage you can expect to become involved in wider client relationship management such as networking and business development opportunities. A good knowledge of the local construction and business environment and established contacts will be an asset to candidates.

What we're looking for:
· At least 5 years plus work experience.
· Experience of a range of project types and sizes, as well as procurement methods.
· A motivated individual who is driven to succeed and will commit themselves fully to the role.
· The ability to work at pace and with energy.
· Experience of working in and leading the technical aspects of a project team.
· Strong communication skills including project reporting.
· A sound experience of technical building design and Building Regulations both in terms of new build and refurbishment / fit out.
· Ability to work on a number of projects at any one time and manage their time and the team's time accordingly.
· Preference for experience in Revit to enable casual access use alongside full time Revit operators.

The Package:
· Competitive salary depending on experience between £40,000 - £50,000
