Job Details
I am currently working with a local authority on their requirement for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team.
The responsibilities of the Senior Technician will be to work throughout the ‘Plan of Work’ from RIBA 0-7 taking a variety of projects from feasibility and design stages through construction drawings to on-site and completion.
The local authority work across a diverse portfolio of projects that include Education, Office, Mixed Use, Leisure and Community sectors.
The Senior Architectural Technician is expected to have strong design/technical experience across various type of building use, particularly schools, and building control in addition to writing NBS specifications.
With the role of Senior being at the forefront of projects, it is crucial that the Technician can work using their own initiative, building a close working relationship with contractors and consultants.
Working knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling and BIM360 data exchange platform) and REVIT systems are essential. Computer literate using AutoCAD and NBS Specification Manager are desirable. Photoshop and Visualising Software skills are desirable.
