Architectural Technologist

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working alongside a vibrant and long standing architectural practice based in Walsall, seeking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team.

The practice has been established for well over 30 years, offering an array of services to their clients, combining creative flair with extensive technical knowledge to provide high quality architectural work. The practice boasts an enviable portfolio of clients that ranges across a variety of sectors and project types including the following; Residential, Healthcare, Education, Commercial & Leisure and Heritage/Conservation projects.

Due to a significant increase in workload, particularly within the Healthcare sector, which includes hospitals, care homes and healthcare facilities, the practice are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to head up projects and lead a small team of Architectural Technicians/Assistants.

The practice utilise Revit software throughout the office on a large percentage of their project workload, so high proficiency in the package and on hands experience of using it on live projects would be essential for this position. You will be joining a practice that has used Revit for several years to a high standard, which gives them an additional edge over their competitors. With a team made up of Architects, Technologists, Technicians and Part 1/2 Assistants, you will be surrounded by talented and like minded individuals.

As an Architectural Technologist, it would be advantageous to possess the following:

> A degree in Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification (HND/HNC)
> At least 7 years of post qualification experience, ideally within private practice.
> High proficiency in the use of Revit software, alongside AutoCAD.
> Sound understanding and knowledge of UK Building Regs.
> Prior experience of working in the Healthcare sector (desirable)

In return, you will be offered ongoing support and development opportunities in order to progress through to Senior/Associate level, alongside a salary in the region of £32,000-£36,000 per annum.
