Receptionist

A design led architecture practice located in Angel are looking for a bubbly receptionist to join their team of 60. The ideal candidate will be confident in their abilities with a great eye for detail with an unflappable attitude. The practice, known for their schemes in Urban design, residential and masterplan schemes have an established profile for excellence and collaboration is at the heart of their studio.

Key responsibilities

Ensure reception is sufficiently manned, answering the telephone
Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
Monitoring office calendars for meetings, arranging lunch as necessary
Ensuring that meeting areas are prepared
Maintaining the overall tidiness and appearance of the office
Managing all incoming and outgoing post/deliveries/couriers
Checking and distributing general emails
Providing general support and filing to the admin team as well as supporting the design team
Ordering stationery and groceries
Assisting with travel arrangements, bookings, office trips and events
Updating contact database

Desired skill

Excellent English, both spoken and written
Ability to work prioritise workload and hit deadlines
Good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel and Outlook is essential, InDesign and Photoshop would be useful
Actively interested in architecture and design
