Architectural Technician

Requirement for an experienced Architectural Technician to join an Architectural Design company based in Leicester!

This practice design innovative buildings, spaces and environments in a sociable, economical and environmentally friendly way.

As an Architectural Technician, you will work on projects within the Residential, Retail and Commercial sectors, moving them forward through RIBA Stages 3-7.

Duties of the Architectural Technician include producing construction drawings and details at tender and construction stages, and coordinating with external consultants, construction design teams, contractors, building control and other relevant professionals. You will also travel to different sites to carry out measured surveys of buildings and support and advise other members of staff.

Requirements of the Architectural Technician include:

10 years experience of coordination with building control, in-house design teams, external consultants or contractors
Experience working on a wide range of projects
Proficient in ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Vray and Photoshop is desirable
Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
Excellent Technical knowledge
Excellent understanding of current UK Building regulations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Full driving licence and access to a car

Salary offered is between £34,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
