Progressive AJ100 Architecture Studio is searching for a Dynamic Head of Communications

Are you an innovative, forward-thinking Marketing, Communications or PR Manager searching for the opportunity to lead a Communications team? A highly respected Architecture practice with a spectacular portfolio of residential, cultural and mixed-use projects requires an ambitious and hard-working Head of Communications to deliver a varied roster of activities and maintain its profile as a market leader.

Devising strategy and overseeing its implementation across two studios, you will work across Marketing, Communications and PR tasks and support the Business Development and bids team. Strategic, creative and practical, the Head of Communications will plan and budget for the annual Communications strategy, delegate to the Communications team and supervise progress, oversee the brand identity and ensure guidelines are adhered to across collateral, schedule updates and new content for the website, intranet and social media platforms, as well as produce award submissions. With an equally important function in PR and Press, the successful candidate will spearhead thought leadership securing speaking opportunities for Directors, cultivate strong links with journalists and industry organisations, manage media relations and carefully coordinate practice events in conjunction with wider industry festivals.

To be considered, you must evidence at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant role ideally within an Architecture, Design or Creative industry. This could be an ideal transition for a PR professional from an agency seeking a move in-house to an eminent Architecture firm.

Above all, a passion for Architecture, Sustainability, Design and the Built Environment is a must. An existing network of Media and Press contacts is a distinct advantage and you will hold a strong interest in following current affairs and industry updates.
