Are you an experienced, results-driven Bid Manager who thrives in a challenging, innovative and design-led environment? One of London’s top Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancies is seeking a Senior Bid Manager with a strategic, creative and practical skill-set to deliver high-quality bid submissions and progress the company’s growth in UK and international markets.

Already at the forefront of cutting-edge practices in the Engineering field, the Senior Bid Manager will work with the leadership team in devising and implementing a bid strategy, coordinating the bid process and facilitating post-tender presentations. Versatility, enthusiasm, proactivity and the ability to shift and manage complex, changing priorities are all essential characteristics required for this role.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Working in collaboration with Directors, the bids team and wider Marketing team, to complete bid submissions and competition entries, producing CVs, project profiles, case studies and graphics to a very high specification
  • Creating a proposal structure and ensuring internal/external deadlines are met
  • Managing tender portals, registering EOIs and submitting PQQs
  • Developing storyboards with the bids team to breakdown scoring systems and set a path for team members to deliver in line with strategy
  • Editing technical content for Quality Assurance (compliance and consistency) and setting up an updated library of bid information and content for rapid tender responses
  • Maintaining bid trackers
  • Building strong working relationships at all levels of the Consultancy to obtain and collate technical information
  • Leading bid de-briefs with Senior Management

To be successful, you must evidence a proven capability in winning multi-million-pound projects from previous roles and have at least 4 years’ experience in Bid Management. Former positions in Architecture, Engineering or the Built Environment is highly desirable, and you must be able to work flexibly to meet submission deadlines.
