BIM Manager

BIM Manager required to join a thriving Architectural studio on the outskirts of Manchester.

This reputable firm of Architects have a long and esteemed reputation as one of Manchester's most highly regarded practices. Having been established for many years, they continue to go from strength to strength in order to accommodate a demanding and diversifying workload. They have remained leaders in their field within an ever-increasingly competitive market and are showing no signs of slowing-down.

Typical projects you will encounter here will likely be within the following sectors: Volume Residential, Assisted Living, Community projects, Schools, Universities, Healthcare facilities and numerous others.

This company have pioneered BIM and it's wider application within the construction industry and they championed the implementation of REVIT over 10 years ago. This is evident when you see the technical intelligence demonstrated in their completed portfolio of projects.

They are looking to hire a BIM Manager now in order to streamline their BIM process and continue BIM's wider application within the studio.

The role will include:

·The implementation and Coordination of BIM throughout the studio.
·Managing and overseeing BIM application on various projects.
·Problem-solving and assisting both Architectural and Technical teams with any issues.
·Providing general I.T, support in coordination with the in-house I.T. manager.
·Providing clash-detection reports.

Experience required:

·3 Years minimum live project experience in a Technical or BIM-Specific role.
·Experience taking projects through from concept stage to completion and Handover.
·Understanding of UK BIM standards / Advanced level REVIT skills.
·Project level BIM coordination experience.
·Previous experience managing Architectural teams in BIM workflows is essential.
·Navisworks experience beneficial.
·Large scale/complex project experience is highly beneficial.

A competitive salary is available for the successful candidate, in the region of £45,000 per annum. This is accompanied with an industry leading benefits package.

This position is commutable from Central Manchester, South Manchester, Cheshire, Warrington and various locations across the North-West.
