Interior Design Studio Leader - Shanghai

Macdonald and Company have been instructed on an exclusive search for an Interior Design Studio Leader to be based in Shanghai for an award-winning international practice. We would love to speak to highly creative individuals either based in China/Asia or outside of the region that would be interested in a move to and lead design in this busy market. The role will be a 2020 start date and will call for a highly creative individual that is able to present to clients and build and lead a design team below them. Considering themselves "best in class" in the mixed-use, retail and hospitality market in China, this practice has a strong pipeline of work with direct enquiries from existing and new clients, which need the attention of a strong practice lead to champion and deliver great design. This part of the business has historically acted as a highly profitable vertical in the business and has scope to further develop and grow under an ambitious leader. Applicants will have worked at Director and/or leadership level for a reputable design firm and will ideally have worked on large-scale interior projects in the China or Asia market.
