Architectural Technologist

Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a growing practice based in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Following a significant increase in work load, the practice are now in a position to appoint an Architectural Technician / Technologist to their growing team. An individual with approximately 5+ years of industry experience working as an Architectural Technologist would be ideal for this position. Sound understanding of UK Building Regs would also be required.

The practice operate in varied sectors, but the most consistent work comes through the Residential & Commercial sectors. Thus, experience of working on one off housing and multi-development Residential schemes would be ideal for this role, alongside experience within the Commercial sector.

Revit has recently been introduced to the practice and is intended to be the main software package going forward. AutoCAD is still in use, so experience in either of these packages is essential, training can be provided where necessary.

To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:

·Extensive UK Building Regulations knowledge.
·At least 5 years of post qualification experience.
·Hold an Architectural Technology degree or equivalent qualification.
·Varied sector experience but with particular bias on Residential & Commercial projects.
·AutoCAD & Revit fluency (desirable).

A competitive salary & benefits package will be on offer to the successful applicant ranging between £34,000 - £40,000 (dependant on experience).
