Established Architectural Technology Firm seeks Committed Part-time Finance Administrator
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual seeking a rewarding and dynamic part-time role! A leading London-based Architecture Technology Firm seeks a diligent and meticulous Finance Administrator with strong attention to detail, skills in numeracy and an interest in accounts. This is a part-time position for 14 hours a week (2 full working days) with the possibility to accommodate more days, in times of staff leave, to support the office’s smooth running. This is an excellent role for a confident Studio Assistant or Administrator, who is looking for a fulfilling role on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be working with the Finance Administrator and Practice Manager to oversee a range of data entry and finance-related tasks. Full training will be provided in all systems and processes, however to be considered, candidates should possess at least 1-2 years’ experience working within a busy office/studio environment, hold administrative skills, adapt to new procedures and have excellent communication skills. It is similarly important, that candidates are confident and pro-active in their approach to team members of all levels to procure key information. A strong sense of teamwork and organisation as well as superb concentration and an eye for numbers, is also essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a debtors list
- Updating forecast spreadsheets
- Preparing draft statements for approval and submission to clients
- Closely following the expenditure and scheduling of ongoing projects
- Updating an online system with new data
- Add budget information
- Compile fee files and chase job runners for latest developments
- Liaise with internal and external contacts
- Regularly update an invoice tracker sheet to ensure all information is ready for the preparation of WIP after year end
A diverse role, the Finance Administrator will be flexible in their approach, and oversee Receptionist and Studio Coordinator tasks on an ad-hoc basis by managing a switchboard, ordering office consumables and maintaining archives.
This is fantastic progression opportunity for an experienced Assistant/Administrator wanting to build up their finance understanding within a successful and friendly Architecture practice.
