We currently have an opportunity for an experienced BIM technician to join a multi discipline Engineering organisation on a permanent basis based in Burton upon Trent. This organisation has a global prescience are considered one of the market leaders within its field.

Your new role

In order to be successful as a Senior BIM technician you must have strong experience working with BIM. They pride themselves on their collaborative approach; and as they have multiple projects at varying stages, conceptual to site completion, you would be given opportunity to be involved in multiple projects in a role that would complement your existing skills, while providing you constant development opportunity. Finally as the Senior BIM technician you will play a leading role in overseeing the implementation of BIM processes for the local office, including training of staff.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Senior BIM technician candidate has a keen interest in Building Design and will, ideally, demonstrate experience of 3D modelling and AutoCAD drawing production for traditional building design projects. Good written and verbal communication skills are vital. You will also have the demonstrable ability to manage small CAD team and balance resourcing requirements to support the design team, you will also have flexibility to travel on an international basis when required.
