An exciting job opportunity has arisen for an Estates Manager to join a busy team in Fife. This job is for a well-established public sector organisation that needs additional support to cover planned and reactive maintenance projects.
Your new role
As Estates Manager you will look after a variety of maintenance project, making sure that all are being completed on time and to budget. You will liaise with contractors on site, manage your own staff and oversee all works carried out. Reporting to Senior Management, you will be a crucial part of the estates team who will regularly report on progress, budgets and any issues that arise.
What you'll need to succeed
For this job, you will need a substantial amount of experience in the construction / maintenance industry working Manager as well as hands-on. You will be a qualified tradesperson or HND Level qualified in a construction discipline. Furthermore, you will be an experienced people manager and have excellent knowledge of all trades.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate, working 37.5 hours per week as standard, with potential weekend work. You will be part of a friendly team working for a prestigious employer. This job is temporary for 3 months at the moment but can lead to a permanent contract.
