Architectural Technologist (Commercial)

Experienced and technically astute Architectural Technologist / Technician required to join a Leeds City Commercial Architecture Practice to assist in the delivery of various Commercial workplace projects.

The practice are well established following a successful 15+ years since the company's inception, flourishing in a variety of sectors, predominantly Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Leisure projects.

The practice have gone from strength to strength and have enjoyed a period of sustainable growth, making a number of marque appointments predominantly of a design oriented nature. They are now looking to bolster their Technical team and require an experienced Architectural Technologist to assist in the successful delivery of various Commercial fit out projects, these are mainly office to residential conversion and refurbishments of existing workplace buildings.

This particular position is open to Architectural Technologists with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, ideally spent within an architectural practice, with the capability to use AutoCAD to a high standard. Revit is also used within the practice so proficiency using the package would be looked upon very favourably, although is not necessarily essential and subsequent training would be provided.

Responsibilities & skills required for the position include, but are not limited to:

- High attention to detail, particular in the production of Technical drawing packages,
- Thorough understanding of UK Building & Planning Regulations
- A wealth of industry knowledge in various sectors, with particular impetus on the Commercial sectors,
- High proficiency in the applied use of some of the following: AutoCAD, Revit (desirable), Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

You will be joining a team of around 20 fellow industry professionals and will be based in a modern open plan studio based in the trendy and upcoming South Bank area of Leeds City centre.

A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant in the region of £32,000-£40,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package.
