Talented Finance & Accounts Assistant for Acclaimed Design Studio with Employee Welfare Focus

A globally-renowned Design practice in the Architecture and Interiors industry is searching for an outstanding Finance & Accounts Assistant. This role is a pivotal function within their friendly Administration team and requires a skilled individual with 3-5 years’ experience in an Accounts department. A sharp eye for numbers, ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and independently, as well as superb communication skills are a must.

The Finance & Accounts Assistant fulfils a comprehensive remit and will work alongside an Accounts Manager, Practice Manager and Director. A central point-of-contact for all finance-related enquiries, you will proactively follow up with project teams to ensure the timely submission of timesheets and be regularly liaising with clients, suppliers and Accountants. Using your proven accounting and organisation skills, the Finance & Accounts Assistant will be:

• Completing weekly financial reporting for Senior Management
• Covering bank reconciliation and maintaining regular lines of communication regarding payments
• Coordinating the authorisation of purchase orders and monthly payment runs
• Maintaining a creditors list
• Monitoring daily cashflow and preparing expenses analysis for project expenditure
• Completing monthly credit card analysis
• Preparing annual P11D reconciliation
• Providing Senior Management with information on project hours
• Completing weekly staff timesheet approvals
• Updating a schedule of international trip expenses
• Monitoring the in-house fundraising committee’s annual budget
• Ensuring compliance with Quality Management procedures
