Are you an experienced, switched on and strategic Office Manager versatile with overseeing a range of operations? A highly respected Design Consultancy specialising in Furniture and Product for various sectors is searching for a dedicated, proactive individual with a strong work ethic to support their team of celebrated Designers in running their creative studio. This is a full-time role with the option of a flexible working pattern or remote working for 1 day a week.

Situated in the heart of the East London’s design district, the Office Manager will liaise closely with the practice’s two multi award-winning Principals across HR administration, finance, facilities management, contracts and project administration. You must evidence at least 3-5 years’ in a similar role in a creative industry and be able to build positive and productive relationship with internal stakeholders, clients and third parties. With a ‘no job too big or too small’ ethos, you will play an integral part in maintaining a fully functioning work space to achieve creative and business objectives, as well as promote the studio’s distinctive vision. Commercial-savviness, a keen sense of discretion and superb interpersonal skills are essential.

Core activities will include:

  • Providing PA support, complex diary management and coordinating international travel for two busy Directors
  • Participating in key strategic meetings in the construction of project and studio budgets
  • Managing Finance/Accounts across incoming and outgoing activities, encompassing bank reconciliation, updating Accounting software, issuing invoices and monitoring Accounts Payable
  • Assisting the Directors with all HR matters, including recruitment, inductions for new starters, conducting exit interviews, managing personnel records and processing annual leave
  • Acting as first point of contact for all enquiries, visitors and deliveries
  • Liaising with external Accountants as well as HR and IT Consultants and multiple suppliers
